Tree Removal Brisbane — Invasive, Damaged & Hazardous Trees
Invasive species, structurally damaged trees and anything threatening a dwelling — identified, removed under control, stump ground out and the site left clean.
Invasive and structurally damaged trees
We identify and remove invasive species — Chinese elm, jacaranda, camphor laurel, cocos palm, privet — along with trees that have structural defects, decay, storm damage or root failure. If a tree poses a structural risk or sits too close to a dwelling, pool, driveway or boundary, it goes to the top of the list.
Removals happen over houses, fences and neighbours' roofs, so control matters. Our teams dismantle in sections using rigging, speedlines and, where the tree is large or access is poor, a crane. Every job starts with a documented site assessment and exclusion zones.
Stump grinding, mulching and clean-up
Removal is only finished when the stump is gone. We grind stumps 300–500mm below grade, take out surface roots where practical, and backfill with clean soil ready for turf or planting.
Timber is chipped on site and the mulch can be spread through your garden beds at no charge or carted away. The site is raked clean before we leave.
Make safes, emergency removals and storm clean-ups
Failed limbs, leaning trunks and trees down across a driveway need someone on site fast. We attend, make the area safe, and clear the damage — emergency removals, make safes and full storm clean-ups across the greater Brisbane area, usually within 24 hours.
Where the tree has to go, we document the defect thoroughly so your position is clear, and handle any approval required without making a production of it.
Replanting and site restoration
Because Stonebark Group also builds landscapes, we can restore the space the tree occupied in the same visit — new turf, a garden bed, or an advanced feature tree that gives the spot a new purpose.
